At Tools Camp be believe in trying things. Creating experiments. Testing things to see if and how it works. We believe in learning how to FAIL. We believe that if we can overcome fear of failing, we will come up with more creative ideas, stronger solutions and unique discoveries. Exploring and trying (and sometimes failing) are strongly encouraged at Tools Camp. We strive to build resourceful children.
Nature. Technology. Tools.
We believe in getting your hands dirty. We believe that time in nature is important. Understanding the world around you, from a sense of place, helps us see how our actions impact the earth. We also believe that the next generation of inventors will need to have experienced nature first hand in order to build solutions to protect it. We believe that tools - hammers, soldering irons, pulleys - help us explore what is possible.
Come build new things, from nature, with a sense of wonder. This is Tools Camp.
